I'm taking part in the 2016 Melbourne Marathon Festival and hoping to raise much needed funds for Suicidal Prevention Australia.

Suicide is real. It happens and it's a much larger issue than it's portrayed on the outside. Had I known this 7 years ago, I believe my dearest sister would be here today. I've made it my promise to always speak up & speak out. If not for her, then for those who cannot. Please help me, help Suicide Prevention Australia raise the awareness it deserves. 

There are so many reasons to run this marathon for other various great causes. My sister is my first and the most paramount reason to do so - and will continue to be so year after year.  

This October, I’m going to be sweating it out and doing my best to complete a gruelling course through the streets of Melbourne and ending back at the world famous 'G. I've taken on this route before & this year is the first year I've opted to fundraise. 

I am honoured to be a part of this amazing race and helping a great cause, and I’d really appreciate your support in this endeavour.
