Run 4 Farmer Health 2016
Story
After setting the standards in 2014 and 2015, Run 4 Farmer Health will be back for its third year in 2016! On 16 October 2016 we will be running for farmer health at the Melbourne Marathon and we would love you to join us. You can show your support for the unique programs we deliver in regional communities by walking or running with us. There are different distance runs and a walk to choose from and they all finish with a lap of the MCG.
The National Centre for Farmer Health is going from strength to strength in 2016 due to the support received from individuals, industry bodies, government and universities! We are consistently presenting new evidence based, peer-reviewed research, delivering our award winning programs and health and lifestyle assessments and training health and agricultural professionals in the latest ways to improve the health, wellbeing and safety of our farm men and women, agricultural workers, their families and communities.
We would love for you to help us keep the momentum going into 2017 and beyond! Being part of our team has the following benefits:
- You will receive Run 4 Farmer Health merchandise to help you get through your run
- It’s an easy way to raise awareness about the health, wellbeing and safety of our agricultural communities
- You will be invited to Run 4 Farmer Health event launches and post event social events
- It’s a fun opportunity to network and recognise the diversity of our agricultural and rural communities
- You will get fit for a fantastic reason, get in shape, challenge yourself and the enjoy the day
See you there!
